pocket avi player

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew of any media players that can play .avi formats. I tried pocketdivx on my ipaq 1945 and for some reason it didn't play an ep of The Simpsons i had in .avi format. ANy help would be appreciated! :wink:

Can PocketMVP play .avi formats....i thought .avi and divx were the same thing but apparently MVP can't play .avi files... plz help

You need to encode it to play on the PPC... You have to realize that your desktop has a little more processing power than your PPC...

Do a search there are lots of threads on this subject.. or go to the Forum for PocketMVP... what was PocketDivX...

Thx for the help fellas... i guess from now on i'll just encode to .wmv and use wmp... I was kinda hoping i could avoid this hassle cuz i have tons of tv eps and movies to encode now.. but i guess that's the only way.. thx again :D

You can encode it as a divx also....read through the multimedia forum, there's a bunch of good info there.
