GOT BLUETOOTH TO WORK ON 4350... BUT NEED SOME HELP

I am proud of myself for getting bluetooth to work with my laptop and HP 4350.

I can use Activesync via bluetooth and can send files from my laptop to my ppc, but I can't figure out how to send files from my ppc to my laptop.

Anyone know what I amy be doing wrong? The devices are paired and I notice that the bluetooth on my laptop displays all my ppc files, but my ppc isn't displaying any laptop files.

On your laptop, right-click the Bluetooth icon (if you have one) and select Advance configuration. Change to Local Services and open the File Transfer service. Look the folder in the configuration. It'll only see files in that folder. You can change. If you put c:\ there the entire hard drive will be visible. Bad move - not a good security decision :wink: .

I have a c:\temp folder that I use for file transfer - this limits access to my disk. Of course YMMV.
