I just recieved my Innopocket Metal Deluxe Case for the 4150 and it is great.
Below is a Mini Review and some pictures
The Good
-The case has a great solid feel
-My 4150 fits very snug inside
-All of the openings line up (Record, Stylus, IR, Universal connector, Reset Button) you can not cradle sync in case
-Removable Belt Clip (the nub screws out. So it you do not use it like me you do not have anything poking when it is in your pocket.
-SD Card Holder on the lid
-Looks Cool!!
The Bad
-When I did an Bluetooth Active sync the BT Signal was intermitant. The meter on the 4150 kept dropping to "To Weak". I do not know if the Case was blocking the signal (the unit was next to my laptop). When I took it out of the case the problem seemed to go away.
I did not seen to have any big problems with Wi-Fi in the case. I had a very strong signal from a decent proximity.
My iPaq did have trouble connecting to my LinkSys AP from 2 floors up. When I slid it out of the case the Signal increased enough to get a connection. Then I slide the iPaq back in the case and the signal sayed the same.
More testing will have to be done with this.
Overall
I got my iPaq 4150 PocketPC to keep in my Pocket. With this case I feel the my 4150 will be safe and this is what I need.
I would not be worried about the weak wireless signals when the unit is in the case. Wi-Fi was not a problem and I think the the bluetooth issue might have been a flook. I will do more testing to ensure a good BT sync. I recommend this case highly to anyone who really uses their iPaq and wants a safty net for it.
Hope this was helpful,
Cory
