help with phone and PPC

i have a 7250i (nokia) phone and a 3970 (Compaq PPC) and i wish to send photos i take with the phone from the 7250 to the PPC via infrared, does anyone know how to do this?
i used to do this via bluetooth with my sonyericsson T68i but thats gone now:/

I would've suggested

Have you checked with your cell provider to see if they have a "connection kit" or something?
