Last night my wife was playing Cropped Out on my 3835, when all of a sudden she says "why did the screen just go black?" At first I figured the screen saver was on the fritz, and told her to just try to turn it back on. When it wouldn't, I asked her if she had been getting the low-battery warning. She replied that she hadn't, and in fact, she had seen just a few minutes prior that the battery level (through Battery Bar) had over 2 hours remaining.
Long story short, I dropped it in the cradle, turned it on, and was welcomed with nothing but the ROM image. Somehow, a hard-reset took place. I immediately went into settings/system/power and found that the battery did have a charge of about 80%.
So, has anybody had this problem before, and if so was it a harbinger for bad things to come? I suppose it's not a big deal if it's dying, since I've been on the fence about getting an MPx200 anyway.
