Unlock an O2 XDA II

Just got a new O2 XDA 2 I need to unlock it for use in the US. Need help.

Nope, none have been unlocked yet. On xda-developers, there is a thread with a request for help from the xda developers for those with locked phones to help them speed up the process of figuring out how to unlock it.

If you did not get the unlocked XDA II from the vendor, It might be wise to return it to the company that sold it to you for an exchange for an unlocked one. It will probably cost you at least $200.00 more but it is worth the trouble. I got my XDA II unlocked and it came with the unlocking key.

Leave it to the XDA Developers to have the ability to look at a lock and make it shutter with their might, thus causing it to surrender!
