My niece, who is ten years old, has told me that Jessica Alba is going to stop by her dance studio as a guest speaker. Just then it dawned on me that I do not spend enough quality time with her, and suggested that I come to one of her dance lessons to see how well she is doing. I figured that there's no point in going gung-ho on it and going to every single one of her dance lessons, since she might not be comfortable with me going there all the time, so I suggested that there would be no better time for me to come than the day that Jessica Alba stops by.
So now, I wonder how Jessica Alba will react when I see her and start screaming "OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH MARRY ME AAAHHHH!" and faint. I mean, what kind of engagement ring should I buy? I don't even know her ring size. What do you think? White gold or yellow?

Darn, the search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&c2coff=1&safe=off&q=%22jessica+alba%27s+ring+size%22&spell=1) came up with no results - Can't help ya sublime.
I'm sure your neice isn't on to your plan, oh so-immediatly-concerned uncle ;)

You might ask her husband what her ring size is. He might have an idea. :D

She married her co-star Michael Weatherly (Eyes Only) from the Dark Angel TV show. Guess buying a ring at this point would be pointless but you can certainly send the $$$ to my personal charity. :D

How do we know Sublime and DrtyBlvd aren't some chick magnets that lure them away from their spouses with their charm?
I guess its plausible..
Maybe...
Well, Sublime, I got your back on this one, but I can only go so far.

Well... Sublime - why don't you post your photo in your profile/avatar and start a poll? Now, not that i condone adultery but a ring might be premature don't you think? Why don't you start with talking to the lady first and see if you can persuade her to have a very nice dinner someplace posh and see how things go from there?... And are you really that interested in marrying her or do you have an ulterior motive? ;) but its all in the best interests of your niece of course.
But in response to what type of ring: White gold is definitely in :) And anything larger than 0.75-1 Ct with nearly flawless clarity and colour ought to do it... That's what i'd buy my future wife to be ;)

Come on Sublime, don't hold out on us now. Is she as beautiful in real life as she is on TV? Where you able to work your magic on her? Better yet did you get any pictures? Don't keep those who are living vicariously thru you, hanging.

Ok DrtyBlvd - I've edited my original post to something you'll hopefully appreciate more.

I'm waiting for my neice to tell me the date when Jessica Alba will be coming.
And FYI, she's divorced (and hopefully on the rebound)
"There, there, there, Jessica. He was such a jerk!"

Ya know Sublime, with a big name sponsor like her, you could deffinetly launch the world Fitaly championships. Tell her the event will raise money for charity or something, then achieve not only your "meet Jessica Alba" goal, but also your world champion Fitaly goal. What could be better?

Celebrity marriages...they never last :( Oh well, like you said, perhaps you will get lucky and catch her on the rebound...of course that's not likely to last either. However, I doubt that you will mind. ;)
