I'm taking my A+ hardware exam Tuesday afternoon. I've been studying and all but since I have not idea as to what granularity the exam is going to go into so I'm basically scared pissless there is something I'm missing. Anyways. I was wondering if there was any tips, advice, or any last minute suggestions anyone might have? Anything you guys could suggest would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've been spending the last few days brushing up on my SCSI, cable wire numbers, the EP process in laser printers, my IRQ's DMA's, and IO addresses for the COM/LPT ports (Still having problems memorizing those hex addresses. Is there anything else I should be prepared for?
What sucks is that my company paid for online training (I have to be certed by the end of the year.) and while I've been using it I've mainly focused on a book by Meyers which is supposedly the best. The problem is no more then a month ago the 2003 test rolled out. I now find myself scrambling to make sure I have current technoloegies covered. (Then again I know my WIFI, Firewire, SATA, etc so hopefully it’s a moot point.)

PS- I'm not to worried about the OS side of things. I know windows like the back of my hand. I'm going to have to brush up on my 9x though. Haven't touched 9x in years.

In my opinion, as an A+ instructor, it sounds like you're reviewing the right stuff. Laser printers are almost always on the exam, as are at least 1 IRQ / IO addy question (Hex addresses are a pain - pay extreme attention to the COM ports - i find they like to use those in questions). The 2003 exam didn't change much on hardware, so you shouldn't be too bad off on that.

If you think it would help, I can generate you some practice exams from a few testbanks I have over here and post them online, just PM me.
