 Just put down an order for my first Pocket PC! It's a wonderful Dell Axim X3i, which I got from the Dell site!

Congrads and welcome to the PPC world and to the site! I'm pretty new here myself. :D

Thanks! I'm a previous owner of an Apple Newton MP 2000, which will remain my primary traveling PDA due to it's ruggedness, and the 3i will be used in my comfey home WiFi network. I switched because PPC2003 (Hey! that rhymes) was somewhat similar to NewtOS 2.1. Of course, mabye I'll love the Axim so much, I'll ditch my Newt! But than I would be overcome grief and guilt...

I couldn't bear to ditch one of them, so I'm keeping them both... and I don't care what anyone says.

Welcome! Since Jason can't modestly do it, I'll blow his trumpet for him...this is one of the best Pocket PC sites on the web, and by arriving here you're already quite a few steps ahead of the herd.

Welcome! I usually pretty much agree with Jereboam, but I would say that this is the only PocketPC site you need to visit.
You will find that these cool little devices have a gazillion uses, can be really annoying, and really are well worth getting to grips with.

Apart from the good information here at PPCT you will find a very interesting cast of characters so there are some good discussions on just about every subject.

My lastest pet subject is the fact that, in US sports no less, the Kevin Millwood/Philadelphia Phillies saga has shown that greed does not always pay off. :)

I am getting an Axim X3 for christmas! This will be my first delve into PDA's (unless you count those sorry Z-Touches), nevertheless into PPC. I am so excited that I keep on thinking, hey let me get my PD..... oh yeah, I dont have it yet :(

Welcome to the community. I"m sure you'll find a group here that has answers to most questions, and can answer any you have.

Well... let me correct that statement just a little bit by stating i think this is the best pocketpc site you can find on the web. Up to date articles, great forums and help, friendly peoples and I'm yet to find anything bad about this site or its users...

I was deciding between a Viewsonic V36, or the X3i. I chose the 3i because of the better screen, and 400 Mhz processor. PLEASE say I made the right choice... :?

I used to enjoy my Xi3 when I was an Essex boy. (Ooops wrong order of letters! )
Actually, I've been using my X5 for nearly a year and it has been a really good experience. I've had success with Dell's support as well. I'm sure you will find that the X3i is a good purchase too.

Hah! When I was a nipper and didn't know better, I used to dream about the hot Escorts.

Whoops. That didn't come out right.

Cars...ok, mods! Talking about cars.

dh knows what I'm on about. It was XR3i wasn't it?
