Removing Icons

Looking for some info on how to remove 3 icons left on my "Programs" screen after I uninstalled the apps. I have searched the registery for referenace to them and then edited them out of the registery but the icons are still there.....The actual icon has been replaced by a generic box with the same label underneath....I want to remove the generic box and label now.

Use file explorer...

My device, windows, start menu, programs....

Tap and hold, select delete...

Thank you....Worked as advertised....For some reason I had it stuck in my bean that it was a registery setting. I am glad to get rid of the old icons!

You probably have some old registry settings left in there as well. To get rid of them you could try a program called.... (Remover) it's free.. and you can find it at PPCFreewares....
