View Full Version : Looking for Linux on Ipaq Expert
I was at comdex last month, and while i was there, I saw the most amazing thing. The game neverwinter nights (my favorite game in the world) was running on a new Ipaq. when I asked the Booth worker how this was possible, he told me that the Ipaq was running a form of Linux. I checked, and neverwinter nights has a version written for Linux. COOL 8O . So i would ask any of you. Do you know how to install linux on your PDA? I have a Ipaq 5550 , 4150, 3975. if you know how to do this, please e-mail me. Also, once I get Linux installed, how do I get it off and back to factory. and how do I install Neverwinter nights? 0X

Check this out for more info on Linux on your iPAQ. (http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/releases/v0.7.2/install/release-notes.html)
I've had it on my iPAQ 36xx more than once. Its definately something you want to take your time reading up on before actually doing something to a perfectly good PDA that will void its warranty.
