I am noticing my ipaq is eating up 20% of the batter within first 20 minutes of use. I do have WLAN card attached
Also is it correct if the batter drains out, my ipaq will hard reset itself. Thats quite painful
Can anyone tell me tips and tricks or any products they are using for the battery situation

It is possible that that your WLAN card is causing this. What model is it?
Some tips for getting more out of your battery are
1 - switch off bluetooth if you're not using it.
2 - Don't run the screen at the highest brightness setting. I find that with my 2210 I can use the lowest brightness setting when indoors in decent lighting with no problems
3 - Get a task switcher/closer like Wisbar or Spb Pocket Plus. That way you can shut applications down properly (as opposed to smart minimizinng them). That way the CPU has less to do.
I have a Socket Low Power WLAN CF Card and I am able to use it for about 3 or 4 hours.
If the main battery is totally drained, you still have a few hours before the device does a full reset.
