I know there's at least 1 CF Card that adds a USB Host connection, but is it possible to get a USB Host connection from the interface on the bottom of the iPAQ (without using a CF or SD slot)?

The sync cable is NOT what I'm looking for -- it is used in scenarios where the device to which the iPAQ connects is the host device. I am looking for the reverse -- where the iPAQ is the host device.

definately not. The system bus is not appropriatly set up to allow this. this is the same problem since day one with the compaq IPAQ. Hp never had the vision to change this. I do love the Toshiba for this fact. you can add the expansion pack, and plug in a usb mouse and keyboard, and blam!!! you have a ultra portable desktop.

way cool. we should be seeing this more as time goes by. the phones that are released with built in pda's will eventually have these features built in to replace laptops.
