Hi All,

I have two laptops: Work and Home. I would like to sync my home computer like normal (all data syncronizes both ways). However, I would like to sync my work computer MONO directional and have ALL work data sync to the PDA, and ZERO Home data sync to the work laptop.

Is this possible? Mods, please move to the appropriate forum if the software forum isn't appropriate.

I am doing this currently on my Tungsten T with Outlook and Chaprua Professional, however, setup was fairly complex and not something that I want to repeat again. I am planning on reformatting soon and I want to convert to PPC (again) and hopefully not undergo the customization process with Chapura again.

Convert me back to PPC! There's got to be a way... Thanks in advance!

Anyone? Is this even the right place to post this? Thanks

eh, I am not sure you do it that way...one ppc to sync one way to the ppc for work?

chapura sucks !

:)

activesync lets you customize the sync process. by default it's set to "compare" or something like that, meaning it combines pda and pc data. but you can set "pc overwrites pda" and "pda overwrites pc" as well, for each of the outlook elements seperately.

then again, you could mark all your private data "private" (in the categories) and set "do not sync private" on your work laptop.

although a lot of people complain about activesync, it's so much better than palm's solution.
one more thing: direct sync ! no need to press a button or anything, just pop the ppc into the cradle, and when you change an entry on the pc, it's synced right away.
