Has the problem described below been discussed for other PPCs, and is there a way to bypass the screen alignment screen so I can get to the NAND memory to beam it to another PPC. Should I be asking this question at another part of the WWW? Thank you, Frank

Problem Description (I'm not alone -- see CNET reviews):
I used the e805 for about 3 weeks, now it doesn't work. The initial problem was that the upper right hand part of the screen would act as if it was touched and an application screen close. So, I backed everything up (except the Nand Memory), flipped the switch to empty/erase the memory (cold-reboot(?)). Now, I can't get the screen to align. I now realize, I should have guessed that something was wrong with the electronics to the screen or the screen itself and also backed up the NAND memory.

You're right...you're not alone. Same thing just happened to me yesterday. Only I'm sending mine back and going back to a 4150.

Thanks to a kamware post at Brighthand and my pocketknife, I no longer have the problem. If I would have simply looked at the screen, I would have seen that the upper right hand side was much lower than the left side (from closing programs with battery-pack too often/hard?). So, I used the pocket knife to a push a white strip up so the screen would move back to normal. [Well, the e805 doesn't really look normal, because the top plastic with "Pocket PC" on it protrudes--but it works now.].
When I looked around for a replacement I was amazed that for me the only replacement was simply the e805; I'm just glad I didn't have to buy another e805. Thanks kamware, Frank
