I WANT TO KNOW CAN WIFI BE ACCESSED ANYWHERE OR SHALL I GO FOR GPRS[/list]

WiFi can only be accessed within range of a WAP (Wireless Access Point). For example, I have a WAP in my house and I can get WiFi access anywhere in and around my house. If I walk to the end of the block...no wireless. GPRS is WAN coverage; same coverage as your cell phone.

Yes. For me, my WAP shares my high-speed cable connection to the Internet.

Well that's definitely going to be a problem with getting WiFi going. Based on that, I'd probably look at a GPRS connection if I were you.

Can I use GPRS to access Normal internet (HTML) or just wap

If you don't have internet, then how are you posting here?

There are some phones that you can connect to a PDA with bluetooth or cables and use them as a modem to browse from the PDA. But we'd need to know what kind of phone and service you have to know if it can be done with your equipment.

I have a Sony Ericsson t300 with Infrared and GPRS on Vodafone can I use that to connect to the internet on ipaq 5450
