XDA II keyboard on an i-mate?

Well I got my i-mate Phone Edition, and it's completely amazing. It's already taken over my life.
My brother is in the UK and he can get me the O2 XDA II keyboard as a birthday present (I love birthdays :D ) but will it work on the i-mate? Since the ROM is slightly different, will this make any difference?

I'm curious to know if your using your i-mate on a mac and what OS?

I have a friend in UK now do you know where to get an i-mate and are the SIM locked?

What would I look to pay for an i-mate from the UK?

I would love to hear about your experiences using a Pocket PC on mac if you are. Are you using Missing Sync to isync your Pocket PC?
