I just look for any game works via network.
Nothing serious.

I found a few Chess engines which try to work via on-line chess dedicated servers but it the practical definition they cannot connect easily. Some time they hang the Pocket PC, some time they're awaiting for data exchanging more than minutes for single move.
Horror.

The one Chess engine is working via MSN Messanger servers: it works fine but... it permanently sends bytes by bytes via GPRS! 80KB per minutes, even when I did not done any move on the board. So it charges my network account a quite fast.
Too bad.

But it is still worth of attention because it works on Pocket PC, Smartphone and desktop computers too. The ONLY one design I saw.

I tried to play between desktop computer in one room (DSL connected) and the PPC Phone Edition connected via GSM network under GPRS, and it is working! Fantastic!

But what's big cost? Read the above problems.

Hey.
I want to ask you: do you know any games work via network succesfully  ?

And as the option: allow you to play between Pocket PC and desktop PC or Smartphone?

Is it a time to these features? Or not?

If by network, you mean online multiplayer, Snails at PDAmill.com is the game you're looking for. It won an award at pocketpcmag, costs only $10, but is free if you subscribe to this site. Oh yeah, and the game is fun and funny, too.

there is the 3d dogfight game (and some others.)
even has windows clients so you can play as example on ppc in cradle and through active sync to the desktop pc in dogfight.

Do those games require a WLAN, or will an ad hoc connection between 2 wi-fi enabled PDAs work?
