I have been a Palm user for some time (actually I don't like the sound of that, so I'll start again).

I have a Sony Clie. I got 'cos I have a Sony Cybershot Camera and thought that I could transfer photos with ease. Well it's not that easy and I have tried to transfer movies etc but it just becomes a pain in the arse converting files so I thought that a Microsoft based system would integrate better with my movie and photo collections.

Can I easily view WMV and JPG files on a PPC media player without purchasing other codecs and software? Will it also play back SWF files?
Which one should I get? Do I need an IPAQ if Iwant to add gps at a later date?

What is the cheapest/best deal in the uk?

I'll let others comment on what you should buy, but the best price I found in the UK, including the internet resellers, was at Dixons Tax Free at Luton airport. You just need to find someone passing through Luton now... :wink:
