voice recognition software advice ?

Can anyone recomend a good voice recognition software package for the PC - I use XP home edition.

I played with Voice Recognition five or six years ago. It was slow and inaccurate.

I got my hands on a (legal) copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking a few years ago. It was very slow, and took a long time to train.

I've seen demos of recent software, and they look very similar.

My aunt has MS (multiple sclerosis) and is paralyzed, and she uses an app that apparently works. I've never seen it though, so I couldn't say which one. If you really need something that works I'd suggest checking into the medical field.
