SS5 - iPAQ CF Expansion Plus Pack - How thin is it?

Hi all,

George M have SS5 which is essentially a "thinned" version of the iPAQ CF Expansion Plus Pack with battery. I have looked at the unmodified unit and I am not sure how thin the SS5 compared to this. I mean, the unmodified unit itself is quite thin.

If you have SS5, can you tell me what's your take on it, before I splurge on $ 170? Thanks.

Funny, I was thinking about Silver Sliders as well today. The only thing that has stopped me getting an HP 5550 is the lack of CF.

Actually, I was referring to the "SS Plus" which is the CF Sleeve WITH battery. :D

I am wondering if anyone actually every bought the SS Plus from George.

One of the issues seems to be whether it's worth the upcharge over the regular HP CF Plus.
