I know I have seen it in the past somewhere here but I can't remember where. I am looking for a program that will allow me to format, defrag and just run general storage card utilities right from my pocket pc. Lately when I try to defrag a storage card from a card reader it just erases the entire card-I can't figure out why. Does anyone remember the names of these programs and where I can get them? Which one is the best/most useful?

I use a program called StorageTools (http://www.softwinter.com/storagetools.html) for these tasks, though I still don't believe defragging a flash card makes any noticable difference in performance. Certainly no increase that could justify the extremely long time it takes to defrag using this software on the Pocket PC. It's faster to copy your data off the card, format it, and copy it all back in a card reader. In effect, this defrags the card since each file is written back to the card sequentially.

You can try Flash Format... (http://www.cnetx.com/format/)
