Hi, I'm considering getting an iPaq 2210/2215, and one thing I'm interested in doing is playing video in Windows Media Player. Will this run the battery down very quickly? I haven't had a Pocket PC before and am not sure what to expect; does anyone know about how long the battery will last on a 2210/2215 when playing video? Thanks for any information.

well the screen is what kills the power the most. With MP3s (screen off) the PDA plays for about 7-8hrs (from me using it at work) but video should kill that in prolly about 3hrs or less (cuz of backlight too) as well as more processing power than decoding MP3s.

I was able to watch the entire Animatrix DVD from an SD card on my 2210 the other day with the screen on almost full brightness using my headphones.

The DVD goes for over 90 mins and the battery was still above 50% availasble when the movie finished.
