Is anyone using VitoTech's SoundExplorer??

I have had a major problem using the latest release of Vito Technology's SoundExplorer (version 3.43). On my iPAQ 1910, none of the recording settings work properly. Here's what I'm experiencing:

- system lock-ups
- corrupted sound files
- skips in the recording
- "pops" in the recording
- segments of a recording that are repeated over and over

I reverted back to v3.4 and my experience is better -- not great. I can at least record now without most of the problems mentioned above. On the highest WAV file setting, though, I can only record 8 minutes before I get an error message about low storage memory (though my storage card has plenty).

Is it just me, or is v3.43 of SoundExplorer totally trashed??

I sent a note to Vito's support -- no responses yet.....

You can check the forums on their site and they have quite a few people complaining about the same thing. Unfortunately, I purchased it myself before I realized it was doing that. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
