Since owning my iPaq, I have come to believe that there is a new lifeform that inhabits pocket PC's. For want of a better name, I choose to call it a Grandom. Grandoms (stands for random gremlin) :devilboy: developed out of a quantum matrix where, like some particles, their very existence may or may not be real, depending on the position of the observer. In fact, the very act of trying to observe them causes them not to have ever existed. They are truly puzzling creatures.

Grandom results are most frequent when trying to Activsync, conduct a presentation, or show a friend what a great device the pocket PC is. Grandom effects can sometimes be negated by trying the same thing over and over for at least 13 iterations. Other ways of negating grandoms is to have someone else try to replicate the action. A hard reset is known to slow grandoms; but their perfidy will soon be rekindled and you can count on their reappearance the first time you neglect a backup.
