Does anyone know if there is a such thing as a CF to SD Card adpater?

You mean, to use CF cards using an SD slot? If so, no, not as of this time.

The vice-versa (SD card in CF slot) does readily exist.

Yea I want to go swap my 2215 for the new 4450 but I like the fact I have a CF slot on the 2215 since my camera uses CF I can download pictures to it!

Lack of a CF Card slot is a problem (in my opinion) with many new PDAs, especially now with MicroDrives up to 5GB. I would say that you should just get a PDA with dual slots, like the Toshiba e755 or e805 if you want wireless. I don't even know of any other PDAs w/CF slots.

Yes, there is a company called Pretec (http://www.pretec.com) I saw at Comdex that should have a CF to SD card converter. It's really a cool little device that will have many attachment options. They said it should be out around January.

I checked their website but there isn't any mention of it yet.

Thanks for the heads-up. :) It's still technically correct that it's not available "at this time", but I'm sure we'll be posting on it when it's formally announced.

Falstaff: he already has a dual-slot PDA.

Robione: why do you want to swap? Integrated keyboard?

I think I said the wrong one! I think its the 4155 I personally dont like the integrated keyboard one! I like the 4155 because if its size. I was a huge fan of the 1910 then 1945 but on both of those, accesories where not an option (Cell Phones, GPS, and Keyboards) So I went with the 2215 which I love but I am lured to the 4155 simply because o the size! Who says size doesnt matter!! Oh yea and it has WI-Fi.

Could you stick an SD card in the SD to CF converter and then stick that combination in your digital camera?

Yes, although you need a SD-to-CF adapter in which the SD card sits "flush", and those aren't cheap ($45+).

Ok, with the sd to cf card adapter, is it posible to use it with the new Veo 1.3 mp sd camera?

Reason I ask is, I'd love to get that thing, but I don't want to swap out my sd card in my Toshiba e740. Most of my programs are on it.

No. The SD-to-CF card adapters currently on the market only support memory, not SDIO.

Why don't you just get a Veo 1.3MP CF camera?

I haven't seen one, only the sd card one. I know I've seen the standard 350000 pixel ones.

Ah, good call. I didn't realize that the CF card was only available in a 300K pixel form. :| You'll have to look at other manufacturers then. :(

I have seen a couple of the cf 1.3mp cameras on Mobile Planet--but they are a good $60-$70 more! There's actually one with a flash! Of course, that sucker's $170!
