I have a Audiovox Maestro w/32MB and a 256MB Secure Digital and a 128MB Compact Flash. I only have 8MB left for program use. Need Help.
You can install most applications onto your SD or CF card and they will be just fine. There are some exceptions, mainly programs that run on startup like Battery Pack and others that become part of the today screen. Usually you are told during installation if it is essential for an app to run in main memory.
Note that you can't just copy the programs over to the card. It's best to delete them, then re-install. You're prompted during installation if you want the app to go into the main memory or elsewhere.
Should work out with no problems.

The key is this: when you're installing a program via your desktop PC, and it asks you if you want to install the program in the default location, say NO, and then you'll have an option to install it to the memory card. Not very intuitive, I know...
