want to buy a a620...but i worry about alarms...I tried with shop assistant in one shop to set alarm to hear it..but nothing happened. We tried with many possibilities(alarm.appointment alarm, wake up alarm, etc)but NOTHING-no leds action ,no info screen,no sound... but sound settings were good ,asus plays music etc..I really have a problem..I want this pda but i'm really affraid about this alarms problem. I need this things to wrok good..

Please say whow work alarms on your device?(a620)...

And give advice what to do...i dont know if that was "bad" unit or only wrong settings(but i fink they were good -cause shopassis. had set them up)or it is this stupid bug in wm2003...?

What can I do to have alarms working fine if it is bug...

Should i ask the shop to show my another unit?(it is a problem they have one only in city)

I really dont know what to do in this situation

I have an A620 and I've used my alarm before when I was traveling. Heres how.

1. Make sure your volume is turned up.
2. Under settings then sound and notifications make sure the volume is set to "loud".
3. Also make sure “Programs and Nonfictions (alarms, reminders)” are checked too.
4. Select clock and tab to Alarms. Set the alarms to the desired times and you should be good to go.

You can change the alarm types by clicking on the "Bell". You can also add your own sounds. Put "wav" formatted files in your windows directory and they should appear in the selection menu.

Or

Buy Alarm software if you’re going to be using it a lot or relying on it heavily.

Hope this helps.

People have said the latest ROM update, .70.31 for the A620, and 1.00.31 for the A620bt fixes the alarm issues.

Since installing that update, I haven't missed an alarm yet.
