Hi I have a new 1930 and some of the SNES games are pretty slow: Mario Kart for example. Almost unplayable.

My favorite game of all time doesn't work at all: Stunt Race FX.

I also find the D-Pad design of the 1930 not ideal for gaming.

Can anyone confirm that moving to a 2210 will improve my gaming experience. If so it maybe worth the upgrade!

May save me buying a GBA:SP.

I've heard that the 2215 emulates SNES at essentially full-speed, so I would strongly assume that the 2215 will perform better than the 1935 at SNES emulation.

Hi,

Stunt race FX on the snes had an extra chip in the cartrage design (the "FX" Chip funnily enough :D )
This was made to beef up the 3d of the game and is unsupported by the emulator.
You'd struggle to find a ppc that will emu the fx chip.

I can confirm that most snes games I've tried on my 2210 appear to work without flaw or slowdown.
Mario Kart has so much mode 7 (2d style 3d....a big spinny bitmap on the floor" , it may be a little slow...I'll have to try it on mine.

Chrono trigger etc works fine tho.

Hope this helps.
