I know there have been other posts on gx.dll but what does it actually do? I've been trying to get a game (rocketelite) working and on install it warns that if i don't overwrite gx.dll it may not work properly. I don't want to overwrite an older file and yes, the game doesn't work.

What do you guys think?

Well I'm not an expert, but I'd say it's just another .dll in the workings of our Pocket PC's that makes things work...

I have no idea what it does, but yeah I've seen it mentioned while I was installing certain games... I'd say don't worry about it..

It is the GAPI dll used by most games. It allows the program to draw directly to the screen and is used by most all graphics intensive games...
