Can somebody tell me how to read palm files in PPC ? I have lot of software for Palm . I just got Dell PPC as a gift. I do not know how to use palm software with PPC. I do not want to spend money to buy new software for PPC.

Palm software is generally not compatible with the PPC. There may be a Palm emulator which MIGHT let you use the software, but no guarantees. Try a google search to find one - I don't have any recommendations as I don't use one.

Basically, it's like you can't run Mac Software on a regular PC and vice-versa: Palm and PocketPC are two separate types of devices.

You'll be able to find plenty of free websites for Pocket PC software like PocketPCFreewares (http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com) and FreewarePPC (http://www.freewareppc.com/).

Can you be more specific? A database to hold info on medications being taken, a program that indicates drug interactions, a patient task sheet?

I know there was a popular medical program for Palm that came out with a PPC version a few months ago....can't remember the name though.

You're probably thinking of Epocrates (http://www.epocrates.com).
