Syncing with outlook

I have outlook 2003.. does pocketpc software support it or do i have to install what came with active sync on the cd. It will download my folders.. but it wont show me any of the messages.. sorry i am a newbie.. I appreciate any help

This thread (http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20622&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30) indicates that you MUST have ActiveSync 3.7 or greater with Outlook 2003. However, also note that a lot of people have problems right now with ActiveSync 3.7.1, so you probably want just 3.7. The thread I linked to shows you where you can get it.

it looks like i see 3.7.1 though not 3.7 ?? so should i unplug the cradle, uninstall restart and reisntall.. ??

BTW I have version 3.7 build 3083.. can anyone confirm if this works.. I am not sure if i have to do something special in the settigns to read the emails ?

Outlook 2003 by itself will work with Pcoket PC 2003 - but don't count on the Business Contact Manager working - - - - Microsoft said it is "by design" that they don't work together now.

And personally, Outlook 2003 without the BCM is not worth the upgrade.
