4000 series ugly dock?

Am I the only one or does anyone else think the cradle on the new 4000 series just looks plain bulky and wierd 8O . I loved the cradle of the 1900 series so compact yet neat with its orange glowing thingy.

Yeah, it is pretty freaky looking...part of the reason is that it's also the dock for the 4350, so it has the larger battery bay for charging a second battery. I agree, not very attractive.

i think the cradle that comes with axim x5 is the best. and i agree that 415x cradle is silly

It's not just an issue of looks. I am having some difficulty placing my 4150 in the cradle consistently to either sync or get power. I think the cradle is poorly desgined.

I agree - I have to stop and try to align it every time. The Dell cradles are much better designed...

I always had problems with my IPAQ cradles, first with the 3630 and then with the 5450. I learned rather quickly to sync with a cable if you want a connection consistently each and every time. :D
