So I will be on a 3 weeks trip starting next monday (Nov. 17). During this period, I will only have GPRS as my single connection method, so, you guys are going see me much less. But rest assured that I will pop my head in here from time to time. :D
Will be back in december. After that I will be at the office, doing bloody-boring year end jobs (budgeting for 2004, annual activity report, closing inventory, emptying workorder, filling my performance appraisal form, praying for a good bonus on january, etc. etc. etc.).
What are you going to do this year end ? Anyone is going to travel to exotic places ?

I am planning on making this Christmas much easier on myself. I am buying socks for everyone.
I am not kidding.
I might buy ones with stripes on them if they're lucky.
Other than that, I'm taking a day off after Thanksgiving (November 27th), and a day off after Christmas, but that's about it. I'm saving up my vacation days for a trip to Scotland next year. 8)

Not exactly a vacation, but we're having a house built and will be moving in about 2 weeks before the end of the year. Location isn't exactly exotic either....about 4 miles north of where we are now!
Maybe it will feel like a vacation......at least until the 1st mortgage bill is due.....

I'm going to celebrate the end of the longest semester in my life, as well as the poorest (as some of my classes didn't run that I normally teach).
Just having the absence of school will be more than enough to make it a great christmas!

I am going to be here, just relaxing. Waiting for the new year for the next semester of classes and thinking about a job change seriously in the works. I wont actually be doing any travelling until next january. Canada to see m girl friend :D and to AZ to visit some family. I will be posting of course

I'm going to attempt to read James Joyce's "Finnegans Wake" over the holidays. I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to do it (I have a four week vacation) because I have to read "War and Peace" and "Our Mutual Friend" beforehand, and I'd also like to get a firm graps of John Stuart Mill's "On Liberty," too. As soon as those are out of the way, I'll sit down and grapple with the greatest unreadable novel ever written...

Are you doing the wood working yourself? The closest I got to that is finishing furniture, something I enjoy very much. It was fun and I think stress relieving.
I also hope to get my resume looking better and to apply for some scholarships is high on my priority list as well.

Actually it is a 1 week business trip to my home country, during that time I will be reviewing the branch operation there .... and then followed by a 2 weeks holiday at my hometown. Nothing fancy, just lots of REALLY GOOD food :D I think it is time to gain some weight. I lost 15 kilos during the 4 months living in indonesia. He heh.
This year I have not travelled as much as I wanted. No more photo-shooting trips since I got posted in indonesia either. Duh.
I am planning on making this Christmas much easier on myself. I am buying socks for everyone.
He heh. And why is that ?
Other than that, I'm taking a day off after Thanksgiving (November 27th), and a day off after Christmas, but that's about it. I'm saving up my vacation days for a trip to Scotland next year.
Woohoo. Scotland is a very nice place to go. Are you married ? Going to scotland alone is not half as fun as going there with the loved one :D So many beautiful places to see.
Hawaii
Take lotsa pictures, and post them here ! :D

Ha hah. Same here dude :D

Japan ... be sure you brings lots of extra cash  A simple ramen noodle can easily cost $15 up there.
I'll be here, keeping an eye on things...
Dont worry, with Honda on vacation to hawaii .. I bet the thread-crime in PPCT will be down by at least 70%. he heh.

In that case Steve can you help me move? See my prior post in this thread.....
Just kidding.........although after 12/16 you'll see my profile address change from Harleysville to Salford Twshp. We're leaving the thriving mecca around the WaWa to move further into the sticks....

Alright, day 3 of branch review. As expected, i got assigned at a PC with no internet access. So i will depend on GPRS. Had lots of good food. I can actually feel that my stomach is no longer as flat as it used to be. he heh. good news and bad news. bad news is due to my 'extraordinary' performance in indonesia, my 6 months contract has been extended to a 2 years contract. good news is, gf will be taking a 2 weeks leave, and she will join me back at my hometown. perhaps it is time to talk about the more serious part of a relationship
So, how is everyone?
