HOWDY :) and welcome to ppc thoughts :!:
The 4150 is the enterprise edition and comes with the premium wm 2003.
from hp website Software: Microsoft® Windows® Mobile™ 2003 Software for Pocket PC (Premium Edition) plus several add-on applications increase functionality

The 4155 is home/homeoffice usage.

There is none. HP uses last digit as 0 or 5 terminology for different market segments. 4410/4415 or 2210/2215 etc are exactly the same devices.

The only difference is the point of sale.

The 4150 is sold at a brick and mortar store

The 4155 is sold on line.

If the Brick and Mortar store (like Best Buy) also has an online store, it IS possible that you will get a 4155 if you purchase in the store.

Kind Regards,

In the past, the only real difference between the xxx0 and xxx5 models has been the channel of distribution. Generally the xxx0 units are sold directly through HP while the xxx5 units are sold through retail channels such as CompUSA, CDW, etc. Occasiaonlly there will also be a difference in the bundled software. I would assume this convention remains in the 4000 series.

Thanks for the welcome Dave... I have been looking here for a couple days/weeks probably lol.. I have the 4150, or I should say its on order right now.. It looks like a fun one.. Any more links you can show me that are important or you find useful besides the forum?

Thanks Again

Ron

I ordered the 4150 through ecost.com for a decent deal.. So I am not sure.. I figured it would be a 4155 since it was a "online" store.

Thanks Again Fellas..

Maybe I got my numbers reversed, but I am pretty sure xxx5 is typically retail/brick-and-mortar sales. My h5455 came from CompUSA. When they still carried the 3900 series, they sold the 3955 and 3975 models. Same with a couple other stores in the area. Oh well, who really knows what HP is thinking? :)

See, I've heard that the "5" is for US and the "0" is for other countries....why doesn't someone ask HP?

Whatever the "code", they are still the same machine and come with all the same stuff.

I wouldn't bother asking HP because if you call up and talk to three different people, you're likely to get three different answers.

Wow.. I have never experienced nothing but a hassle when I goto staples to return something with a reciept. It seems they want to not refund peoples money when you purchase something from them. Where I work at is near Tysons Corner, VA the store is horrible, goes from management to employees.. I am glad the one near my house in Gaithersburg, MD is an amazing customer service group. Not that I buy stuff unless i get a "hot deal"
