i had a (imho) pretty cool idea,
i was thinking of building an older ipaq into a clamshel laptop design,
is it possible to build a pocket pc from parts of older second hand pocket pc's?
its just an idea i had,
just wondering if there are any problems that arise, and if i am allowed to do so,
i prolly wont though due to costs
also this IS a non-profit project just for me so i dont see any probs.

I dont think there would be a problem if HP didnt know about it :)

But it would be cool, you could buy a foldable keyboard and get some cheap older iPAQs are work away, if you know what you are doing :D

When you mean clamshell, I suppose you could take off another sync connector from the bottom and weld it on sideways, and then have a switch on the bottom so that it wouldnt get confused when activesyncing! :D Then, you could weld the keyboard permanently to the side, but you would need to have a program that allowed landscape, probably NYDITOT Display. :D

And then you could work on a uniform brushed aluminum casing and your own logos 8)
