Hi

I thought I read somewhere that the 2210/2215 could be used with the old Stowaway Keyboard - 3600 series - which works with 3800/3900 series with a small adaptor.

Now I have the adaptor for my old 3850 but the different curve on the 2210 means it doesn't fit. Question is can I file the edges of the adaptor down and use the 2210 with the keyboard using the new 2003 drivers?

Now if I cannot what keyboards would the forum recommend that aren't way expensive - I am looking to spend $80 at most for a new keyboard. I may get a few quid on eBay for selling my Stowaway.

Yes, that is what I did, and it works fine.

Are there any software issues I should be aware of before I get the file out!

On Brighthand there appeared to be discussions about registry hacks and soft resetting the device each time you wanted to use the keyboard.

Maybe this was before the latest 2003 drivers and this is no longer a problem.

Another question if I may - did you unscrew the connector before filing or just filed down as one piece.

I filed down the edges of a Fellowes Stowaway XT keyboard using a Dremel tool to make with work with my 2215.

You HAVE to get the WM2003 drivers from ThinkOutside though, to make it work!
