I got my new Dell X3i this week, and started downloading programs last night. I downloaded Warring States and it didn't work because I moved it into the Games folder in using Windows Explorer. When I uninstalled, the shortcut icon in the programs folder was still there. It was now a dead link. I cannot delete it, it does not show up in the stupid file explorer or on my PC looking at the explorer. I also downloaded Vindigo and it asked me if I wanted a shortcut installed. It installed two shortcuts. Neither deletable. I did a hard restart. I installed Warring States again, but now was told I was missing visual basic runtime (something for WinCE?).
I uninstalled it and once again I have the shortcut stuck.
What do I do to remove these shortcuts, other than a hard restart?
