Hi All,
I have an upgraded h5450 2002 to PkPc2003.
Everything works fine with Outlook 2002, Active Sync 3.7
Then I upgraded to Outlook 2003 (Office 2003)
AtiveSync now cannot synchronise with outlook. It gives me the error:
"Synchronization cannot start because this desktop computer cannot access necessary information. Restart this desktop computer and synchronize again. If the problem persists and this desktop computer is running Microsoft Outlook 2000, open Outlook 2000, click Help, and then click Detect and Repair. Otherwise, contact your network administrator"
The Microsoft Knowledge base article (824116) says use Active Sync 3.7
I am already using 3.7. No help here.
So I:
* Uninstall Active Sync 3.7
* Detect and Repair Outlook 2003
* Install Active Sync 3.7.1
* Delete all partnerships
* Rename my Pocket PC just in case
* Try sync again
Suprise - the same error message.
* Try detect and repair again.
* Change the color of my sock (hey I've tried everything else)
Still the same error message
Any ideas of what other steps I should try?
Stephen.
