View Full Version : TextMaker and Macintosh .DOC file problem

Is anyone else out there using TextMaker to create Word (.DOC) documents for Macintosh users and having issues?

My editor and others I send files to are complaining that my .DOC files cause their Macintosh versions of Word (both Classic and OS X) to crash. I've contacted the developer, who've analysed my files and told me there's not a problem with them. That's not what my clients and readers say. It's not sufficient for me to tell these Macintosh users "It's your problem". What's more, I didn't have any problems for the past year that I've been using TextMaker.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the application a bunch of times and these issues persist. I need the additional formatting options that TextMaker provides, so I can't go back to PocketWord.

Anyone have any insight or suggestions? Thanks very much.

P.S. I'm re-posting this because it's happening again. Maybe one happy day Pocket Word will be a real word processor.
