Hi there!

I can only seem to get one appointment on the today screen, and I tried adjusting the remind function when you create a new appointment, but only ever one shows on the today screen. Can anyone help me get more than one on there?

For more power on your Today screen, you can check out Calendar+ (http://mohairsofa.com/default.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/main.aspx) - I like it a lot.

You might also want to take a look at ScaryBear's QuickAgenda. You can display 7 days worth of appointments on the Today screen. It also lets you set how many lines of the display it uses, and it will show a little scroll bar if there are more appointments than will fit in that number of lines. It's one of my favorite programs.

I was on handango the other night looking for another program to spice up my calendar, nothing as elaborate as pi or af, but I am not sure if it was the calendar+ referred to here, mmmm.

I dont have any plugins and I couldnt find the options menu, I had found the Today options though. I like the Calendar that comes with WM2003, its suits me just fine! And David, we all have our technologically incompentent days.

It just hit me, I have never used Outlook 2003 Professional so much now that I have my PDA - syncing is so nice, I create things while I am out and they show here, and same with phone numbers and etc. This is great, I am feeling much more organized!

You're buying into Microsoft's vision... as are all of us. :razzing:

Seriously, I'm in the same boat as you. I never really used Outlook as a PIM until I got my Pocket PC.

Here at our house, we love Microsoft. My father has a Partnership with them, (His small business) and we also have all of their latest software etc. We are getting the new Office Pro sometime, and we have all of the OSs from 95+! (And all of the office series too!)

And now my PDA screen is more complete as I am using more often! :D

Well, seeing that honda is mostly here on this forum, instead of having quality time with his family ...

they are together in 'ideal', meaning since they are such a big ms family, just the use of a ms product keeps them together in spirit

Whoa, taking what I said our of context, again, Maximus.

We have a partnership with Microsoft, but, who cares? It doesn't have anything to do with disfunctional! We spend time together doing a lot of things Ill let you know.

Back on the topic!

I dont think its worth it buying a Calendar add on because MS one is fine for me.

That has some good additions for school, if you're into tracking your grades and stuff. But if I was back in school (which I plan to do in the near future - I :ppclove: education!) I'd stick with Pocket Informant for most stuff and use an xls file for the rest. But that's just me.

as time has gone by, I see the built in pim is ok but doesnt cut it. That is obvious for getting pocket plus, and needing to see about task/subtask software, and weekly focus and needing to be able to adjust the categories for what i want them to say, and needing more for contacts.
mmm, after all taht ms just needs to update to a new pim for me adn us all
