That's why Wakefieldsoft's new <a href="http://www.handango.com/brainstore/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&productId=88788">Giftbox Plus </a> caught my eye as an indispensible application as we approach the holiday season.<br /><br /><img src="http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/images/adrian/giftbox.gif" /><br /><br />"GiftBox Plus™ is your complete gift idea and gift tracking software for Pocket PC or Windows Mobile handhelds - and it includes PC companion software. Keep track of each person''s birthday, anniversary, clothing sizes, hobbies, colors... anything you want using the customizable fields. Jot down gift ideas to remember what to buy the next time you shop. Record previous gifts given AND received for previous occasions. Also included for reference are lists of anniversary gifts and birthstones."<br /><br />Other features include: <br /><br />• PC companion software for synchronizing information between your Pocket PC and desktop<br />• Password protection<br />• Track gifts given or received: record gift, date or occasion, and price paid.<br />• Include personal information - birthdays, anniversaries and custom fields allow you to remember clothing sizes, hobbies, fragrances, likes, dislikes, colors, and more. <br />• Store potential gift ideas<br />• Customizable fields<br />• Room for additional notes<br /><br />You can go to <a href="http://www.handango.com/brainstore/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=311&productId=88788">Handango </a>to grab the free trial version, or buy a full license for only $19.99.

$US20???? wow.. thats a lot for this.. at $6.95 - $9.95 this would be a nicer..

There's a lot of "list" style apps out there that could double up for this functionality - ie. ListPro

Reason for asking is that they have a Gift list program for free. In fact, all of their programs are free (you have to install some .dlls). Granted, they aren't as 'pretty' as more commercial programs, but it beats paying $20. :D

The screenshots make this look impressive, but a few minutes in ListPro to setup this type of thing is the way for me...

Gift giving would be a list for me.
name
occassion
gift
notes
That simple, a list software can do that. Actually, probably some finance softwares can do that.
20 bucks? not me.

Sounds useful as I suffer from a similar memory affliction to Brad's, but I concur that $20USD is overpriced. Until the price drops a bit, I'll continue to use ListPro.

I'm a sucker for great-looking, colorful GUI, so I think I'd have been more tempted to spend the money for this (as opposed to using ListPro), if only they'd made it a little flashier.

Actually, I can see how ListPro might not be the most elegant solution to the problem. However, it's possible that something like a wallet program might be a closer approximation to this type of functionality.
