Broken e335?

Yesterday morning, after letting my Toshiba e335 recharge overnight, I turned it on, and only about the bottom 1/3 of the screen showed any color. The bottom 1/3 which actually is on only shows lines.

I tried hard resetting, noting.

I tried soft resetting, and right before the beep the bottom 1/3 turns completely gray.

Any ideas?

so only half the screen lights up?? you have done hard reset and nothing?
how long have you had it? It does sound as if it is a gonner to me.

All of it lights up, with a white screen only except the bottom 3rd (with backlight)

I got it last december I think

zachary80, I think your PPC is toast. Sorry... hopefully Toshiba will replace your unit (not so sure about that) or you have a replacement plan from wherever you bought the e335.

I just figure no point in asking questions that have already been answered. I offered a suggestion you didn't, so it's not like my post was redundant. :roll:

zachary80 - let us know how your situtation works itself out.
