I came to work today, put my e740 in the cradle and unable to get weather. It's worked just fine for several months now; server down? I have soft reset the unit twice, and AvantGo is able to grad data just fine. I would really appreciate any ideas? Thanks.

what version of journal bar are you using?

v1.4.3 - 14 is my version. I uninstalled the app, and now the weather line doesn't show up - I looks like all my other data is being updated correctly. :?

Yeah - mine is working now too. Another user at brighthand (ahovis) emailed OmegaOne about it, and they have corrected the issue. The rep also said that a new version is about to be released that will prevent again in the future. I love this application.

The only thing I was interested in was the weather and that seemed to work... well it wasn't fantastic but it was ok.

After a number of occaisions where my weather would not update for several days, followed by the announcement that UK weather will not be supported, I decided to work on my own weather feed.

I now use Today's HTML (today plugin) to display an automatically updating display of the weather (extracted from the BBC website). I use the icons from Journal Bar and I actually have more information (wind speed, current weather, etc).

Woohoo :D

I stopped using the weather bar becuase the highest temp it showed was 80 degreees. Even though the real temp was over 100. I checked my zip code and it said everything was correct. I thought I might have checked Celsius, but I had Fahrenheit selected. I think I will try a neighboring Zip code and see if that works.
