Greetings:

Has anyone out there put the E800 through its paces.
I wondering if the power usage on the unit is acceptable.
Seems there some messages about the E405 unit is
sucking up power very quickly, hope its not the case with
the E800.
regards Robert

With a VGA screen, the e800 ought to suck power even faster... But then again it also has a larger battery if I remember correctly. Overall, I doubt you'll get the best battery life from the e800, especially if you're using WiFi.

Indeed - anyone seen any reviews of the e800 yet? Haven't seen any so far.

Greetings Everyone:

Thanks for replying to the message topic.
It seems that from this and other messages about the E800, there
is a battery power issue, that the E800 battery would not have a long battery power.
I was wondering if any Toshiba Reps have been viewing these messages,
and would give their story about battery life on the E800.
I often visit many Digital Photography forums, and Sales and Tech Reps, of all the major Camera brands give their personal experience on new products as soon as they get chance to try them out.
I was wondering is there any Toshiba Rep, who can clarify this battery issue, and give us other good tips about the E800.
I'm thinking of purchasing the E800 by Christmas, I hope there will be more reviews on it, by people who have used it.
regards Robert

So what did you decide jpjehu? How big an issue is the battery life to you?

the average times have been very reasonable from what i've read. as far as the battery running down without using it (as i read about a 405) i'm not sure, but the times two reviewist got was just shy of 4 hours, which i consider good for a larger screen pda. i still think testing is very limited so far, but i read nothing bad.
