does anyone know if a TMH(tyco) battery might work on a Tyco RC car that uses a 6v ni-cad(tyco) battery?

I don't think so. The plugs probably aren't compatible. If you need to make it work, then you could transplant the plug from one to the other. Just be sure that they are the same voltage, and that you have some way of recharging the NiMH battery with it's intended charger—the NiCD charger will not work with it.
