I wondered if anyone has been having a problem similar to mine. When I first got my 2215, the headphone jack was flaky. It cut in and out and had to be positioned just right or one side didn't work. If you played with, you get static like a bad connection. I returned it and got a replacement which had no problems. That is, for the first couple of weeks, now this one is doing the same thing. I have tried it with a variety of different headphones and they all behave the same so its not a headphone problem.

Mine used to do the same thing. It can get really anoying. Especially that popping crackling sound. It wouldn't all the time but still anoying.

Yup -- same problem... using that as the reason for my exchange at CompUSA as soon as the 4155 hit's the shelf. :-)
