Thats odd that the site says "pre order" i ordered mine back in September and recieved my upgrade CD on Saturday. The upgrade went well and i am now as "current" as my 3835 will let me be.

Are there any compatibility issues with the expansion packs. My buddy wants to upgrade.

None that i have noticed. I use the expansion pack plus with my PCMCIA wifi card and have had zero problems.
