I know this is a good problem to have, but I wanted to see what everyone thinks....

I switched to the PPC world last year when I bought the PPC XDA from T-mobile. (I left Sprint and the Samsung Palm Phone). I didn't like the phone part of that, so I bought a 5455 (then bought a 5555)and a Sony T68i early this year. The bluetooth connection between the two just isn't there yet. Besides, now I'm carrying two devices when I travel again.

Soooo, I just bought a Treo 600 from Sprint, and it should be here today.

I really like the 5555 as a tool, and am considering keeping it.

Here's the problem. Will I be able to have both Activestink and Hot Sync running on the same computer? Has anyone tried this?

Thanks!

James

Sure you can, I've done it many times. With os4 I used to have problems but with os5 everything works fine.

I ran an older version of ActiveSync & Palm's Desktop awhile back on a Windows 2000 computer and had no problems. I don't think the newer version should be a problem either.

I also had both Palm & PocketPC devices connected at the same time & syncing at the same time too. The only thing was, with the Palm Desktop, I did not have it sync to Outlook and the PocketPC, I did. The Palm was provided by my work & the PocketPC was my personal.

I'm assuming that if you have both of the data on Outlook, you should probably sync one first, then the other. Otherwise, if you sync both of them and both are writing to Outlooks data, I don't know what the outcome would be.
