View Full Version : Tasks behaving badly

Hi All

Further to previous post about tasks remaining in the OLD time slot after I've changed the time/date I'm thinking that it MIGHT be best to re-sync them all with Outlook on my PC.

Is there a way of deleting the tasks database from the iPAQ, and if so, can I selectively choose just TASKS rather than everything else (my appointments and tacts are behaving OK!)

..and then just resync the PC with the iPAQ

Is it that simple...anything potential pitfalls in doing this? ;)

Thanks!

Hi All

Thanks for all your replies...I think I've confused myself with all the suggestions:

Briefly...here's the problem

If I add a new TASK to my iPAQ with an alarm..when it sounds at the allocated time, I get TWO almost identical screen reminders. One says the name of the task, whilst the other says the name of the task with the due date underneath.

When the reminder pops up on my DESKTOP PC in Outlook, I only get the one reminder

Anyone got any ideas what I might do to fix it? As I'd said in a previous thread, I think the database has bcome corrupted on the iPAQ somehow and I was thinking of emptying the contents of it on the iPAQ and then resyncing with my desktop

Does anyone know how to delete all the TASK entries...without deleting the database itself (which I'm told will cause some extra problems if I do)

What a nightmare!
